Terms
Terms of use
Plain terms for a free service. Using the site means accepting them.
What this service is
My Emergency Kit produces suggested preparedness lists from the answers you give. It is general information for UK households, not professional, medical, legal or emergency advice. My Emergency Kit is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the UK Government or emergency services.
In an emergency, call 999. For medical questions, speak to a pharmacist, GP or NHS 111.
Prices and availability
Prices shown are our own estimates for a type of item, to help you budget. They are not retailer prices, are not checked live, and what you pay may differ. Always confirm the price and specification on the retailer’s own site before buying.
Products and retailers
We do not sell anything. Purchases are contracts between you and the retailer, under their terms. We are not responsible for the goods, delivery, or any dispute arising from them.
Liability
The service is provided as it is, without warranty. We take reasonable care over the content but cannot guarantee that a list is complete or right for your circumstances. You remain responsible for decisions about your own household.
Changes
The recommendations, content and these terms may change as the service develops. Continued use means accepting the current version.
